First Day of Preschool & Ice Skates...

Today was Payson's first day of preschool!!! Leading up to today, we had a lot of conversations with Payson about what to expect, how to behave, and what to do if he needs to go to the bathroom. He was so excited and told us several times that he was going all by himself, and no one else could come with him. Paul is lucky enough to have a flexible schedule, so he took today off to be with Payson on his big day. There are two other kids in the class that we know, so talking to the other moms kept my mind off of getting upset, but as soon as we got back to the car, I lost it and started crying like a baby. It is not the easiest thing to let your baby go for two hours a day when you are used to being with them all day long. I hate the thought of missing out on one minute of his life, but it is time to let him go....just a little. I was not the only one that had a hard time today. Just as I expected, Beckett was very upset and confused why he couldn't go to school too. We felt really bad for him, so we went to Target and bought him a Batman toy to cheer him up. Then we went to Play-It-Again Sports to kill time before Payson was done with school. We ended up finding a great deal on some used hockey skates for the boys because they are taking a Learn to Skate class at the college hockey rink. When we got back to Payson's school, we spied on him playing outside with his classmates. To top the day off, we went out to lunch to celebrate Payson having a great day!

(We have to drop them off and  pick them up in the lobby.)

 Lunch at Wendy's.

I finally got a chance to take some pictures of our house at a distance that show the front yard and driveway shape.
