Home Sweet Home...

After a very long year, we finally moved into our new house on September 15th and the kids are loving it. During the first couple of days here, Payson said several times "I love our home sweet home!". The kids all have there own rooms again, but most importantly, Paul and I have our own room and privacy. So far, the unpacking is going slowly, but the biggest job of unpacking and organizing the kitchen is done and it took me about six hours. I cannot tell you how nice it is to see all of my kitchen items again. Paul biggest job was to unpack our trailer and, with the help of a few friends, he was able to empty it pretty fast. The kids are especially happy to see many of their old toys again. Having the deck attached to their playroom is so convenient because they can go in and out as much as they want. Phoenix and Luna are probably the happiest of all. A few days after we moved in, we installed an invisible system. It was the best money we've spent so far. They have so much room to run and play. They are completely different dogs when they come inside the house too. No more jumping on and over my couches.
Here are some pictures from the past two weeks...

The kids riding bikes on the deck.

Lately, Irelyn is obsessed with doing
whatever the boys are doing. She is one
determined little girl!
One of my favorite pictures so far. Love
the comparison in height of the boys
to our trees in the back yard.
So much room to run and play!!!
The boys visiting the puppies. (Before the invisible fence.)
Phoenix and Luna in their kennel.
Taken from our driveway, looking left at the side and backyard.
Trees in our front yard.
Our little climber. The boys NEVER climbed.
Play date with their favorite friend, Elliot.
They had fun exploring in the wood.

The back of our house.
She insisted on having paper and
a crayon so she could play
Blues Clues like her big brothers.

Irelyn sitting in front while I drove through Parc Safari. It
was my first time taking the kids without any help.

She LOVED sitting up front and feeding the animals.

I bribed them to take this picture and it worked!

All About Daddy...

During the past week, Paul has scored some major cool points with the boys. On Labor Day, we had nothing to do, so we decided to visit Paul at work. The boys were beyond excited to see their Daddy and where he works. Explaining what a Border Patrol agent is to toddlers is somewhat complicated, so they think he is a policeman who catches bad guys and helps people. By the end of our visit, they were referring to Paul as "Policeman Daddy". It was very cute.
This morning, I took the kids to watch Paul play in a hockey tournament. While Irelyn had no clue what was going on, the boys thought it was pretty cool that their Daddy was a hockey player. And even though Paul was the only player wearing red pants, I had to point out where he was over and over to the boys. During the game, Beckett was very worried and kept saying "They're gonna get Daddy." and "Where did Daddy go?". After his first game was over, we went out to lunch and took the kids to the park before I had to take them home for a nap.

Paul's station. It is huge!
Checking out Daddy's truck.
They thought it super cool when
he turned on the lights and
talked to them through the speaker.

The boys had fun playing on the bleachers....
....and Irelyn had fun watching them.

There he is!!!
