Our Virginia Home...

Today, Paul and I got back from our successful house-hunting trip to Virginia. After looking at over 30 homes, we decided to buy a brand new three story condo in Woodbridge, Virginia. It was definetly a hard decision between a house or condo, but we weighed the pros and cons of both and made the best decision for our growing family. To see all the pictures of our new home click on the link the right in our photo gallery titled "Our New Condo". Enjoy the pictures and leave us a comment.

Plus..... Here is a new baby bump picture. I am getting bigger everyday and it was so hard going up and down stairs while we were house shopping. Enjoy.

Baby Bump Update...

Here is a new picture of my belly. This week I feel twice as big as last week. I can't believe what a difference there is since my last belly picture. I also can't believe that I continue to lose weight. Payson moves all the time now, sometimes making it very difficult to fall asleep. Paul just got home from West Virginia yesterday and he is anxious to feel Payson move. On Thursday we leave for a house hunting trip- so wish us luck.

20 WEEKS...

My Poem to Payson
************************
It's like you're in my pocket,
I take you everywhere I go.
Moving around inside me,
I love to feel you grow.
* * *
You mean the world to me,
you are my dream come true.
I'm so lucky to be your Mommy,
and your Daddy feels that way too.
* * *
I can't wait to hug and kiss you,
my life will be so fun.
I will love you forever and ever,
because you are my son.

Movement...

I finally feel Payson moving around in my belly. Up until now I doubted whether it was the baby or gas, but now I am sure. He is like clockwork. Everynight around 9pm and 1-2am I feel his little movements. I watch the clock all day long in anticipation of this bonding time. Funny story....Last night I was watching a hockey game and I yelled at the screen because of a bad call then Payson kicked me really hard. It made me laugh. I know he is my little future hockey player. Paul wouldn't have it any other way.
Today I went to my regular doctor's appointment and everything went great. Payson's heartrate was 154bpm and my uterus is measuring 20 weeks. Plus, I lost another 2 pounds! This kid is sucking the life out of me. I have a feeling he is going to be a big boy!

18 WEEKS...

Today was my 18 week - level 2 ultrasound with a specialist to measure the anatomy of the baby. I had to go alone because Paul left yesterday for training in West Virginia. It was weird being at the doctor without him. At my appointments I always notice that most women are by themselves, so I feel very fortunate to have such a supportive husband.
During the ultrasound, Payson was doing what he always does..... sleeping in a ball. He loves to curl up and cross him feet at the ankles, making it very hard to measure all of his parts. But after some poking at my belly, he finally moved around enough to get all of his measurements except his heart. They told me his heartrate was 147 bpm and that he weighs 10oz., which is perfect and right where he should be. I have to go back in 4 weeks to look at his heart and the placenta again, plus I have a regular doctors appointment on wednesday.
