Irelyn's Birthday!!!

On Tuesday, our baby girl turned ONE! For some reason, Irelyn's first birthday was far more emotional for me than Payson or Beckett's. I am suspecting it is because there is a good chance that she is our last baby. Who knows though, we just can't decide on baby #4. I just wish I would have known while I was pregnant with her that she was my last baby. Maybe I will get to fulfill a dream of mine to be a gestational surrogate. Or maybe we will adopt or become foster parents. It will be interesting to see what our future holds. Anyway, back to Irelyn.....
First thing in the morning, Irelyn played with her new toy from Grandma Dawn and Grandpa Tom. She really loves it and so do the boys. Then, we all went to play group and I made cupcakes to share with the kids. After nap time, we drove out to Saranac Lake and had dinner at a smokehouse bar-b-que place called Tail O' the Pup. We are looking forward to celebrating her birthday with family and friends in a couple of weeks at a party I have planned on the 28th.

All decked out for her birthday!

Her new bracelet.
My present to Irelyn.

Irelyn and Daddy at dinner.

Drinking soda. She is already
getting whatever she wants!

LOVE, love, love his freckles.

Finally getting a chance to get dirty.

She loved her cupcake!

House Update:
Framing has still not yet begun on our house. There was another delay and, this time, it was our fault. We decided to add a shed dormer on to the back side of the house, which meant the plans needed to be changed and stamped by an architect again. We have started the process of meeting with vendors to pick out things like bathtubs, faucets, toilets, etc. Next week we have an appointment with the kitchen designers and we have decided to start having a babysitter at our appointments to keep the kids busy. It is just too hard to accomplish anything while trying to watch them.

The shed dormer is adding three windows
and more square footage on to the house.
