Back in December we drove out to Vermont to visit a Siberian Husky breeder. They had puppies available at that time, but we wanted to wait until our house was finished to get them (This is when we thought the house would be ready in April). Well, as time went on, it was obvious that our house wouldn't be ready on time, so we decided to wait until the next batch of puppies in the summer. Luckily, we are now allowed to have dogs in the house we are renting. So we drove out to Vermont this morning when Paul got off work and picked out two beautiful puppies. We are getting two puppies because the breeder said is was better for them to grow up together, instead of getting another one down the road. Both of the puppies are girls, but they are from different litters born exactly one week apart. The black and white puppy is almost 4 weeks old and has awesome blue eyes. The red and white puppy is almost 5 weeks old, has the fluffiest coat and will end up having two different colored eyes. Either blue and green or blue and brown. I don't think the boys quite understand what is going on because we just keep visiting them, but either way I know they are going love having dogs. We have to wait until after their 7 week check-up to bring them home. So, in the mean time, we are going to decide on names and get all of the supplies we need. Stay tuned for the next blog when we bring them home!!!
